Ok. . .so it's 1:09AM. . .and I can't sleep. In a fit of raging boredom, I find myself here. Doing this. Chances are - I'll make a couple entries, this self-diagnosed-adult-onset-ADD will kick in and that will be the end, but who knows. Maybe not.

Summary of the day: woke up late. Nothing like rolling over to see the clock say 7:58 when you're supposed to be at work at 8. Oh well. Not the first time thats happened and most suredly not the last. My work day was filled the normal stuff. . .half my staff out sick. . . a secretary thats dumb as a rock. . . a coworker that thinks she knows it all. . . and a boss that I love like a second mother but who will worry the pure living shit out of you if you let her. I'm sure if I stick to this, you'll learn more about all these people. Don't want to spoil it all on the first entry :)

Tomorrow starts another new year. So far the options are kinda slim. Going to the club in Greensboro or going to Raleigh to hang out with a bunch of couples. I have that whole 'terminally single' thing going on, so the couple deal doesnt do much for me, but not really sure I'm into the club thing either. The funny thing though. . . It's hard to believe another year is almost over. The ball will drop and the second hand will push the world and everyone in it on to new calendars full of the stuff that lumped together we all call life. And that's so short. . . Crazy short. Relizing that we have another chance to be happy regardless of circumstances. Love those that don't deserve it. Help those that need it. So easy to type. To install though. . .thats another story.
